What are my options if I have to cancel or change the dates or location of an Exchange Vacation I’ve already booked?

A grace period applies when an Exchange Vacation is confirmed three (3) or more days before the start date of the vacation and is cancelled before the end of the next Business Day. You will then receive a full refund of the Exchange fee paid and the full Deposit Trading Power used.

If you change or cancel a confirmed Exchange Vacation after the grace period, you will forfeit your Exchange fee and up to 55% of the Deposit Trading Power used. However, as an RCI Weeks® subscribing member, you can protect your Exchange Vacation with Trading Power Protection.

Trading Power Protection protects the Deposit Trading Power used to confirm an Exchange Vacation.  It ensures that if you need to change or cancel the protected vacation at any time up to and including the scheduled check-in day, 100% of the Deposit Trading Power used for that Exchange Vacation will be returned.
