• You don't want your deposited vacation time to go to waste.

  When you deposit your vacation time with RCI, we assign it Deposit Trading Power that you can exchange for another vacation up to 2 years beyond the start date of your deposited vacation. If you don't use your Deposit and don't extend it, you lose the opportunity to vacation against it, and you won't be able to take a vacation in return for the maintenance fees you already paid to your resort. Purchasing a 1, 3, 6, or 12-month Deposit Extension (up to a maximum extension of 2 years) gives you more time to Exchange it for a vacation you otherwise could have missed. You can purchase a Deposit Extension for your Deposit Credits, too.

• You can't travel during your deposit timeframe.

  Many situations can arise that limit your ability to travel. Work, family, or personal obligations can pile up, and before you know it, you don't have time to travel during your Deposit's travel window. With the flexibility of Deposit Extensions, you don't have to worry about traveling during that original travel window! Extending your Deposit allows you to travel at a time that is more convenient for you.

• You want to share your deposited vacation time with family or friends, but it expires soon.

  Sharing a vacation with loved ones can be a great gift, but it may be difficult for them to make travel plans on short notice. Purchasing a Deposit Extension allows you to share your vacation week with the ones you care about without the rush of having to make immediate plans.

You can also combine your Expiring Deposit with one or more of your available Deposits, Deposit Credits, and/or previously Combined Deposits (for a fee). When you combine Deposits, the new Combined Deposit will expire one year or two years from the date the deposits are combined, based on which combine option you choose.

You can Exchange your deposit’s Trading Power for another vacation at one of approximately 3,600 resorts in more than 100 countries or use it toward the purchase of a cruise vacation. You must book and travel before your Deposit's expiration date.
