What does it mean to put a vacation on 'hold'?
When an RCI Weeks® vacation is put On Hold, you have until the close of business* the following day to either confirm or release the unit. If the vacation is not confirmed, it will be automatically released.
To confirm, cancel, or review information about a resort on hold, log in to your RCI.com account. Click the "TRIPS" tab. Then, click the "On Hold" option. Review the information about the vacation. If it meets your travel needs, click the "Confirm" button and follow the steps to complete the confirmation.
If you do not wish to confirm the vacation, click the "Release" button instead. If you would like to continue the Ongoing Search, please be sure to also click the box on the second page to "keep the Ongoing Search associated with this vacation hold." Next, click the "Release & Return" button to finalize the release of the unit on hold.
*Note: Close of business corresponds with Call Center hours.
