Providence combines its friendliness of a small town with the sophistication of a big city! The river boat tours highlight historical and architectural points of interest perfect for any history buff. Also check out downtown Providence’s incredible WaterFire art installation if you have a chance!


Hartford, CT

From the Mark Twain House and Bushnell Park, to the Connecticut Science Center and Wadsworth Athenaeum, there’s plenty to explore in Hartford! In 1868, Mark Twain wrote, "Of all the beautiful towns it has been my fortune to see this is the chief." Riverside Park offers picnic areas, walking trails, a boathouse and playgrounds perfect for family trips.


The Poconos, PA

You’ll want to add the Poconos to your list of picturesque places to visit. With winding roads, waterfalls, and hiking trails, this destination caters to all nature lovers. If you’re looking to try the Appalachian Trail, you can explore 45 miles of it in the Poconos area! For golfers, there are over 35 courses to tee off.


Cleveland, Ohio

Home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the city of Cleveland has a lot to offer! You can fill up an entire day of activities by spending time at the local amusement park, Cleveland Botanical Garden, or watching a baseball game. If you’re looking for a great place to eat, you don’t have to look any further! Cleveland has a number restaurants awarded by the James Beard Foundation.



When you stop in Indiana, be sure to try a slice of Sugar Cream Pie, Indiana’s unofficial state pie! Take in gorgeous views of Lake Michigan, from Michigan City, then head over to Indiana Dunes State Park for beach access and some well-deserved relaxation.
