Skiing
Fun Things to Do in Massanutten in Winter. The fun abounds at Massanutten Resort where winter outdoor recreation is at its finest when the fresh powder falls! If you happen to be a traveler who loves to make the most of outdoor adventure this time of year, Massanutten Resort is the perfect place to enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and beyond. You can also ride the lifts just to make more of the view, or head over to the resort’s ski rink and put your balance to the test on ice. The ice rink at the resort is actually the tennis court transitioned to an outdoor setting for this time of year. There are a variety of open skate sessions throughout the week for visitors as well as options to book lessons when you’re looking to get your feet underneath of you with a little more finesse.
Those who are new to winter sports will love how easy it is to book ski lessons at Massanutten Resort while those who prefer to bundle up with hot cocoa will find the on-site ski lodge the perfect place to spend a winter day!
