If my baggage is lost, will the travel insurance plan offer any coverage?

The baggage and personal effects benefit may reimburse direct loss, theft, damage, or destruction of baggage during the covered trip, subject to limits, valuation rules, duties after loss, and exclusions. The maximum is $1,000, with a $500 per item limit and special limitations for certain items.
