The travel insurance plan will allow you to cancel or interrupt your covered trip for covered reasons. In the event you have to cancel or interrupt your covered trip for a covered reason, you are eligible to file a claim(s) against the travel insurance plan to receive reimbursement for the prepaid and non-refundable trip cost associated with the trip. This also includes single occupancy coverage. We will pay your additional cost as a result of a published change in the per person occupancy rate for prepaid travel arrangements up to the policy limits if a traveling companion’s covered trip is canceled due to a covered reason and your covered trip is not canceled.

In addition to the Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage, the travel insurance plan will provide post-departure benefits for emergency medical situations, travel delays, baggage delays, and 24-Hour Travel Assistance & Concierge Services.*
